A big aqua park will appear in Minsk in the not-so-distant future. The project of the aqua park was recently submitted for Minsk city authorities’ consideration and in January of the present year, the government approved it. The ground for the aqua park is on the territory of Drozdovskoye reservoir at the crossing of Pobediteley Avenue and Minsk ring road. The aqua park will be a unique complex with the total area of 14,000 square metres. All most up-to-date developments in the sphere of recreation industry will be used in this park. Presumably, there will be a few swimming pools, waves and playing swimming pool, entertaining zone with slides and different levels up to 10 metres high, a waterfall, water amusements and an open-air swimming pool on the territory of the park.

This will be the first modern aqua park of European standards on the territory of Belarus. According to the head of investments holding “BNK Engineering” Mr. Abdo Romeo Abdo, aqua park is a profitable subject for investments. It is a part of entertainment industry and, as it is generally known, entertainment and recreation are always in good demand. Some investors, who invest money into other projects in Belarus, have already taken an interest in the project’s realization.

Abdo Romeo Abdo, a Lebanese by origin, is one of the most significant figures in Belarusian business.

Created in 1998 Ruby Rose group company, that was a subsidiary company of Ruby Rose international companies group, successfully settled down under his management in Belarusian business. Abdo Romeo Abdo was born on August, 21st, 1975 in the city of Kobayat in Lebanon.

Having become a general representative of Ruby Rose Group in Belarus, Abdo Romeo Abdo as a manager issued the challenge of company's capitalisation increase, investment projects packages' formation and management of their realisation.

Already in 2007 when foreign investors took a great interest in Belarus due to the environment of relatively stabilized economy and favourable political situation, he initiated a build-up of a new holding LLC "BNK Engineering" in the Republic of Belarus, which had to realise investment projects in building and industry. He has been the head of LLC "BNK Engineering" up to the present time. In addition, in that same year LLC "BNK Engineering" started its work on telecommunication projects, specialising in big projects in Asian countries.

What he appreciates in people most is the attitude free from prejudices. He dislikes a preconceived attitude to people and things and cannot put up with ostentation. Sometimes he regrets not becoming a lawyer but he is proud of his profession and his work which he does well enough to his point of view.

A worldwide famous Hyatt hotel chain will gain a Belarusian representative soon. Preparations of building a five-star "Hyatt Regency" hotel in Minsk have already started. At present moment, 260-roomed hotel's design is being developed.

According to plans, the hotel will be situated in a picturesque place near Komsomolskoye Lake in a park complex in the central part of Minsk. Adjacently, there is one of the main avenues of the city, huge business and entertainment centres, restaurants and shops.

According to the general director of holding on investment projects in building and industry realization LLC "BNK Engineering" Mr. Abdo Romeo Abdo, the approximate volume of investments into "Hyatt Regency" hotel in Minsk is 55 mln. US dollars. A group of the best Belarusian and foreign specialists is involved in the project.

Convenient geographical situation relatively to Europe and high investment potential make the Republic of Belarus attractive to foreign investors. This is reflected in the holding's figures on investment projects' realization in building and industry LLC "BNK Engineering" (The general director is Abdo Romeo Abdo).

The company carries on active work in the development of a number of projects. These are two business centres on Dzerzhinsky Avenue and 1st Zagorodny lane, a multifunctional administrative - commercial centre, " Hyatt " Five-star hotel and two elite residential areas.

By preliminary estimate given by Mr. Abdo Romeo Abdo, approximate volume of investments into these projects will be about 300 million US dollars.

Company's plans are not limited to the commercial property, although it is undoubtedly the most profitable investment area. LLC "BNK Engineering" is negotiating with Minsk officials on building the first in Belarus aqua park of European standards in Minsk. No doubt, this will be a pleasant gift for the residents of Minsk as well as for the city's guests.

A young and ambitious head of the company Abdo Romeo Abdo has shared with us his dream, which he hopes will come true. The dream is to build an international centre in Minsk that could integrate main international corporations with their offices, showrooms, conference halls etc. More importantly, he finds this project feasible, which shows the far-reaching plans of the company and its intention to continue investing in building in Belarus. One of the main avenues of Minsk Pobediteley Avenue will join the new district with the business centre of the city. On the other side, there is the biggest "Zhdanovitchi" market in the immediate vicinity. In addition, "Drozdovsky" pond is a nice place for rest. It is one more advantage of the place that was chosen for a new elite residential complex that will occupy about 100,000 square metres.

In the light of the recently grown demand on accommodation in Minsk over the last few years, recoupment of invested into the building funds does not raise doubts.

As previously predicted, the sum of investments into these districts' building will be more than 100,000,000 US dollars.
